We are just getting started with this group. We will hold our first meeting on Sunday July 12 at 2pm. The meeting is an opportunity for photographer, models, mua’s (makeup artists), wardrobe stylist, hair stylist, clothing designers, producers, casting scouts, etc to meet, and find opportunities for work, collaboration, and learning.
General format and schedule for the event.
1:45-2:30 arrival and socializing
2:30-2:45 or 3:00 introductions by all attendees. Limit it to 2 minutes max per person. Intros should give more than just name and location. I am thinking that plus experience, areas you mainly work in, etc. A concise 1-minute bio would be good.
3:00-4:00 casting announcements (if not casting but only looking for work [please realize most/all are looking for paid work but utilize this for both opportunities] a quick blurb about that). Go around the room again and each person has opportunity to announce castings. Others take notes and then after all announcements time to talk with those you want to work with to fulfill casting.
about 4:00 discussion / suggestions for future meets, organized group shoots, etc, is there interest in each, etc. I will also have a feedback sheet for ideas, suggestions, improve next one, future locations, etc.
Finish about 4:30 (if approx time schedule works out) With our anticipated attendance I think this will be closer to 5:00pm.
