Bio:
Natalie Bonner is a professional writer, model and actress based out of the Magic City. She is a recent graduate of Birmingham-Southern College where she received her B.A. in English. She is a freelance writer for many local publications. When she is not busy reporting the news or writing an article, she is actively honing her creative writing skills through playwrighting, screenwriting, fiction and non-fiction endeavors. She is currently working on her first book. (But so is every other writer).
In the summer of 2009, Natalie stumbled across a man that suggested she try modeling. As she always had a passion for acting, she decided to give it a shot. After her first shoot, she was hooked. She easily drew a connection between modeling and acting and loved the creativity that modeling allowed her. She has worked with many photographers throughout the southeast, and prides herself on her ability to rise to a challenge. She believes if something scares you, by all means you should do it. There’s no other way to grow. She is now signed with Rogue Management Models & Talent based out of Birmingham, Alabama.
As she continued her modeling pursuits, she was able to employ her theatre background in special effects makeup training in video work and photo shoots. Her speciality is horror/gore makeup, although she is fully trained in all areas of makeup. She is a freelance MUA and photo stylist for shoots.
Through the Birmingham Media Networking Group, Natalie met Scott McLeod, who in turn, introduced her to Brian Tunnell, producer of View of the City. Natalie attended the auditions held earlier this year for the local online daily show and was selected to be in the cast. Natalie is a grateful member of Birmigham Media Networking Group and has experienced first-hand the capabilities and benefits this group provides.
